Featured on the Mozilla Addons Blog

It's no secret that the pandemic got even more of us into YouTube. I was no stranger. And that's when I started noticing the ever-growing presence of suggested content, sometimes bordering on the irrelevant. It felt like YouTube was trying a little too hard to curate my experience and it wasn't always hitting the mark.

YouTube Search Fixer was born to help me reclaim some control over search results and then, hopefully, help others too.

Finding out that it was to be featured on the Mozilla Add-ons blog was a delightful surprise. It's incredibly humbling to see my work recognized by such a respected platform. But honestly, the real reward has been the positive feedback from users. Knowing that the extension is helping people achieve a more focused and personalized YouTube experience is truly motivating.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing community behind Firefox Add-ons. A special thanks to users in over 100 countries who downloaded and continue to use the extension everyday. Your support is what keeps me going and inspires me to keep improving YouTube Search Fixer.

So, thank you, Mozilla, and thank you to the fantastic community. Here's to cleaner searches and, hopefully, a few less rabbit holes to fall down!
